Role Overview

Create authentic Saudi Arabic audio and precise written transcriptions that support multilingual language-learning resources. This remote, part-time contract role is suited to native Saudi Arabic speakers who bring cultural fluency, careful communication, and a commitment to linguistic quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Record a range of phrases in native Saudi Arabic using your own device, contributing to a diverse audio database.
• Provide clear, accurate transcriptions for every recorded phrase, with attention to linguistic precision and cultural relevance.
• Use genuine Saudi dialect, expressions, and language usage throughout recordings.
• Work remotely with the project team to receive instructions, share feedback, and complete assigned tasks.
• Communicate professionally in writing and verbally, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a flexible part-time work structure.
• Use different available microphones or smartphones where possible to add diversity to recordings. Equipment quality is not restricted.

Qualifications

• Native proficiency in Saudi Arabic, including strong knowledge of local dialects and cultural nuances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to transcribe spoken language accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time environment.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to consistent linguistic quality.
• Ability to use a range of audio-recording devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in language teaching, linguistics, or translation.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time contract position.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
